Reposting the same video with a new caption is exactly what Instagram throttles. Every edit is built around that.

Never the same cut twice

Every post is fingerprinted by what's actually in it. A cut you already got won't be made again for 30 days — a new caption or a crop doesn't count as new.

No text on the video

Clean footage, the way you shot it. No hook text, no subtitles, no title cards. Your words stay in your caption.

A daily limit you can see

Your plan sets how many new edits you get a day. When auto-posting is on, posts are spaced through the day and never go past Instagram's own limit of 100 per account per 24 hours.

A gate before every post

Each cut is reviewed on the exact words the viewer will hear. Cuts that start mid-thought, include off-camera talk, or just aren't good are thrown out before they reach you.

The first week is $9 on every plan (up to 5 a day that week), one per person and Instagram account. Yearly plans are billed once a year: 12 months for the price of 10. In the iOS app (in App Store review), plans are bought through Apple.

What is a trial reel?
An Instagram feature for professional accounts: a reel shown only to people who don't follow you. Your followers don't see it in their feed or on your grid. If it does well, Instagram can promote it to a regular reel. Longer explanation →
Will this get my account flagged or shadowbanned?
Posting the same video again with a new caption is what gets throttled, so TrialReel never makes one: every cut is fingerprinted and a repeat is blocked for 30 days, and every cut is reviewed before you get it. When auto-posting is on, posts are spaced through the day and never pass Instagram's own limit of 100 a day. We can't promise what Instagram does; we can promise we don't do the things that cause it.
Do my followers see any of this?
Only what you choose to post. If you post an edit as an Instagram trial reel, it is shown only to non-followers, and nothing appears on your profile grid unless Instagram graduates it to a regular reel, which only happens when it performs. When auto-posting arrives, every edit goes out that way.
Where does the footage come from?
From the videos you upload. We re-cut them (new opening, new ending, tighter middle). If you connect Instagram, it can also re-cut reels you've already posted. On Autopilot Plus you also choose exactly which videos are in rotation.
Does it add text, captions or voiceovers to my videos?
Not on Autopilot. Clean footage, no text on screen, no hashtags we made up. Autopilot Plus lets you turn on captions and set your own editing rules if you want them.
Does it work today?
Yes: upload your videos, get new edits, download them and post them anywhere. Posting straight to Instagram goes through Meta's official API, and Meta is still reviewing our access; until it's approved, auto-posting is open only to invited testers, and it is coming soon for everyone. The iOS app is in App Store review. The web app works now.
How do I stop it, or leave?
Flip the switch off and no new edits are made or scheduled. "Delete my account" in the app removes your account, your Instagram connection and everything we stored, immediately. Posts already on Instagram stay yours. Data deletion →
